Mum has been away all weekend, first thing she does when she gets back is to moan at me about getting a job. I would get a job if there were jobs going atm, which there aren't. Then she says she doesn't want me sitting around all summer not working...says the teaching assistant who doesn't have work until September. And what else is summer for? ( Read more... )

...having to learn over fifty German verbs in all ten million or so tenses that German has, talking about the Holocust in German and writing a piece of coursework comparing Schindler's Ark, Wilfred Owen's war poetry and Cold Mountain..which also happens to be the shitiest book ever written.
